There is one other day of the year that I hate besides my birthday and the day before St. Patrick's day. The evil day that comes after the day of Thanksgiving. Black freaking Friday. I hate it with a passion. I'm like yeah that's cool you get the best deals in town but is it really worth it? Is it really worth going out there getting something and having a 50:50 chance that it might be stolen? I don't think so. See as Americans today we don't see what Christmas is now a days. It's a time of giving yeah but from the heart not from a store. I truly believe that to this day. We as Americans have run ourselves into the ground. Going out shopping on Black Friday is just plan ludicrous and sometimes not even then some people sit outside the stores for a week before the event missing Thanksgiving with there family! I can see it now...
"So billy what did you do for Thanksgiving." Billy's teacher ask with a smile on her face.
Little billy looks up ever so shyly and says "We spent Thanksgiving together but my Mom decided to camp in front of a store for a week so I didn't get to see her till Sunday."
Now tell me that ain't the truth. Nobody sees that TV, games, movies, all that good stuff can be bought anytime but spending time with your family you only get a couple of shots to do that. I mean you can replace any of those things but you can't replace a family member. Once they are gone out of your life they are gone. No one wants to look at that they just see the here and now which is quiet sad. I think if we just sat down one year all of us and thought about or actions maybe the holidays wouldn't be so stressful. Maybe if we saw that our family is more important than a video game or wide screen televisions. We as Americans would just have it better off. Now I am just a dreamer and I love to dream but that would make me the happiest person alive to see a family with not much give from there heart not there wallet. There is no point for Black Friday I don't care how good of a deal you are getting. It's a waste of time that no one should have to go through. Just leave it to God to grant us a blessed Christmas and leave it to the this blue hedgehog to help as well!
It ain't all about giving it's understanding that we are here for a reason to celebrate the baby Jesus. Trust me I will not get this religious on you guys again but I think we need to just open our eyes and realize that we need to just slow down in life and things will come to us even Sonic understands that key. Relax and breath things will come to you. So Black Friday you is evil!
