Now with me saying all of this you maybe wondering what the hell am I getting at? Well here is what I am getting at. After Sonic 1,2,3 and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure 1&2 he hasn't been the golden boy that we all cherished and loved back then. With games like:
Sonic Heroes: Now people are going to be very split about this because I know some people that loved this game while people like me hated it. This really was the beginning of the end for Sonic. Just the fact that you had to do so much for one team was kind of irritating and boring. I spent a good 3 hours alone on Team Sonic before moving on to Team Dark, Rose and Chaotix. Which were all quite painful to do as well. It forced you to do stuff that you really didn't feel like doing and to be honest I haven't beaten this game cause I just can't get passed the fact that it takes forever to do. For a prize that is not even worth at the end. The music is awesome which most of all Sonic soundtracks are kick ass but besides that the gameplay is just awful and the dialogue... Oh god the dialogue. So Sonic Heroes on my list of sonic games is ranked. F for fail!
Shadow the Hedgehog: Now this is really put the stake in the coffin for me. You give a Hedgehog guns and boom this is what you get. A bad game. Once again people will disagree with me that this game is fantastic but no it's not. It actually is a abomination to the sonic universe besides a couple of others. So with this game it takes after Sonic Adventure 2 when Shadow falls to Earth and is believed to be dead. So you get to play as an amnesiac hedgehog that everyone wants to get and use for there own purpose. At first it plays off as an interesting game allowing you to choose good and evil for your paths but once you get deeper into this pile of crap you realize what it is... A pile of crap. The whole idea of the multiple endings is so stupid and so painful that you don't want to play the game.But you know what I did it I beat it... Was it worth it... No. I WANT MY 34 HOURS BACK SHADOW! Like no joke because if you don't get everything on your first run. Oh good God it is a pain to redo it all because you have to be careful the slightest slip up and you basically screw up the rest of the game for yourself. The fact that you have guns is just stupid and the funny thing is to be evil is harder to get then to be good. Trust me I was just messing around the first time and I got the good ending no problem. The game is stupid the endings are stupid and the whole general story is stupid. The official ending for the Sonic universe is the good ending from this game. So there if I spoiled it for you good! That means you won't play this damn game.

Sonic The Hedgehog Next Gen: Now this was Sega 3rd attempt to reboot Sonic since this was his 15th anniversary. So what we get is this game... I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH I HATE THIS GAME! The story is awful the addition of Silver the Hedgehog was just so stupid! The loading oh sweet monkey booty the loading was just unbearable. Then this...
You see this girl? Yeah Sonic falls for her and what makes it even weirder she falls for him! I am not into that kinda crap you people maybe into it but me nooooooo. That is just weird and stupid. The whole story is that Egg.... Robotnik is trying to get the Iblis also know as the Flames of Disater. So he comes to stop some parade celebrating I guess some god. Trust me it gets a hell of confusing later. So Sonic who can really move, Sonic he's got an attitude, Sonic he is the fastest thing alive. Saves the princess and goes off. Now I'm not going to bother to explain the rest but Sonic dies being shot through the heart with a Makankōsappō a.k.a special beam cannon by the evil clone of shadow Mephiles the dark then is brought back by the seven. Drum roll please!
DRAGON BALLS!!!!!
Not really but the Chaos Emeralds brings Sonic back to life like no joke and the levels for that is a pain in the ass as well! Then you transform into...
Basically to be honest with you that is what the three of the hedgehogs remind me of. Honestly wrap your mind around that!
I mean look at it!
Back on my serious track after Sonic's Death the princess shows emotions and releases the Ibilis and the world goes Kaboom creating SOLARIS! So if you haven't been following why Egg... Robotnik kidnapped the princess is because of the Flames of Disaster. You know what he should really stop trying to release ancient powers that were sealed up for a good reason because it never goes good for him like honestly name me a plan that he released an ancient power that went right... YOU CAN'T! You really can't! Anyways they get the Chaos Emeralds bring Sonic back to life and with the power of Christ he gives his super powers to the other two hedgehogs and they go save the world. Which I'm not going to lie was the funniest part of the whole damn game. Once they defeat him it... thing...
Seriously what is this thing?!
So after you beat it. You realized the world has stayed the same. Everyone is dead except for the princess, Robotnik, and the of course all the Sonic characters but once they kill him,it.she? They get sent back in time when Solaris was a cute little flame on a candle stcik and the only way to reset the present day world is to blow out the candle which would make everyone forget what had happened through the whole game. So no egg... Robotnik kidnapping her and no meeting Silver which is thank God. But to be honest to me the whole reseting time thing so no one can remember what had happened thing was the biggest middle finger that Sega could give me. So they blow out the candle and the scene from the beginning of the game plays at the end. I'm not going to go any deeper cause it makes me sick... The whole beastality thing was like no thanks... Some people say not to treat it like that. Some say to make it like she wanted him as a pet... I was like no! There was more then love between an owner and a pet! SHE WANTED BLUE BABIES! So don't pull that crap with me!
Besides the crap of it all the game was so beautiful and so pertty! The visuals made my eyes bleed tears of joy. The story though was bad. Fighting the same enemies were a pain. The bosses were stupid and sometimes pointless. I just didn't like the game and I truly felt that this was the end for Sonic the Hedgehog.
Rating Z it goes further then F man.
But how does it look for our hero now after naming those games? Good from what I have played so far Sonic Generations! Is amazing in my eyes. I think it really brought back that classic Sonic feel that we all fell in love with. I mean there are things that are still debatable but they took the engine from the okay Sonic Unleashed game and used it in a positive way... NO WEREHOG! That was something else...

But all in all I have to say after his falls and blunders there looks like there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel we call what the hell Sega. There is going to be hope and that is what matters the most. He will come back hopefully the way we all remember and cherish him. Come on Sonic you can do it!
P.S. I know I didn't get to all of the games but if I tried too holy hell this list would be a hell of a lot longer. So I will try to do one of these every once and awhile so keep checking around! Now go out there LIVE AND LEARN!
